The first stop of our holiday is a short 3 night stop-over with Mum’s friends – Clare and Wooly (Paul)
We arrive late evening around seven o clock in Australian time to a cloudy night and spot a lot of packs of Kangaroo jumping around in the fields right beside the run way.
We move through border control pretty quickly, a relief compared to the 3 hour delay we came to in Auckland. Clare had to wait a long time for us. 1.5 hours drive later we make it to Safety Beach.
Safety Beach
Safety Beach is 1.5 hours south of Melbourne. It was used to be called Sharks Cove because of the very big number of sharks attracted by sheep farms in the around that area.
Arthur’s seat National Park
The national park was amazing. Dad,mum,Clair and wooly planed it as a surprise at night time, but I was incredibly tired because of the 3 hour time difference from nz to Australia. When we got up there we had fish and chips
